OH GOD ANON, YOU ARE GOING TO REGRET ASKING BECAUSE OF COURSE I DO:

• Shawn and Belle from Days of our Lives but only as played by Jason Cook and Kirsten Storms. I’m sure the recasts are lovely people but I couldn’t stand either of them in those roles (and they ruined the characters when they recast them as well so.) I think Jason and Kirsten have some of the most natural chemistry I’ve seen on television and I loved the way the relationship was built up and I loved how often they said ‘I love you’ and I loved that so much of what they did felt unrehearsed and genuine (lawd they had some stupid storylines tho.) I think they’re my favourites because I always think I’ll get bored of them AND YET I NEVER AM.
• Jack and Jennifer from Days of our Lives - They were reporters!!! And they had sex for the first time in a cave!!! And they talked about Shakespeare a lot!!!
• John Paul and Craig from Hollyoaks - They were such a big deal ~back in the day. I’d actually have legit conversations about them with people I knew in real life (GASP.) Also I am pretty sure they are the only people on my list that get to live happily ever after D:
• Jonathan and Tammy from Guiding Light - hnnnng the chemistry and the half-cousin incest and all the scenes they had where he’d keep trying to convince her not to marry that other guy. And then they killed Tammy off in the end which was really, really lame.
• JT and Colleen from The Young and the Restless - I just really enjoy ‘us against the world’ narratives in the soap opera medium and age difference when it’s done well (*shakes fist at General Hospital*)
• Lucky and Elizabeth from General Hospital - but only for like, the first 2 years? I think it all went to hell when they recast Jonathan Jackson (recasting should just not be allowed in most cases) but ugh they had some really, really, really lovely scenes during that period of time ~everything I am is in love with you, etc

Yeah, those are my favourites. I’ve enjoyed others as well like Jason/Sam (GH) and Lucas/Sami (Days) and Emily/Nikolas (GH) and Nick/Jade (Home & Away) but the ones above are THEEEEE BEST. Ooh and I loooooooooooooooooooove Will and Sonny on Days of our Lives at the moment
