9. Morgana and Guinevere
Let’s just ignore series 3. In series 1 and 2, you could always rely on their scenes to be just pure fluff. I really miss the days of spinny hugs and Gwen getting flowers for her girlfriend. On a more serious note, what I love about this relationship in series 1 and 2 is that, just like Merlin and Arthur, it’s impossible for these girls to not love each other purely based on the face that they spend the majority of their days and evenings together. The only time they spend apart is when they sleep and…well, if you read fanfiction….
I love that Gwen found out for herself in series 3 that Morgana had turned evil, although I’m certainly going to miss them being best friends. Gwen was always there for Morgana, especially when she had her nightmares, and Morgana always defended Gwen, namely when her father was killed and Morgana yelled at the King for it.
